5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome bass., September 4, 2010
This review is from: Blue Electric Acoustic Bass Guitar w/ Equalizer & Accessories
This thing shipped so fast, I expected at least a week, it came in like three days! I've had this bass for a couple of months now, and it's really fun. It's my first bass. Though it's not from some famous maker, it still catches the eyes of some of my friends with fancy $600 basses, and according to them, it's a nice bass (: And it really is. Unplugged it's not TOO loud, but it's enough for solo practice. Plug this baby in to an amp and it sounds awesome, the equalizer works nicely too. I guess one thing I would have liked is if there was a strap button on the opposite end, but you could always get one installed at a music shop for not too much money. If you've been interested in getting your first bass, I highly recommend this one. Or even if you already own an electric bass and just want an acoustic to have around, this thing works. I've had so much fun with this bass so far, and I would have to say it was so worth the money spent, which wasn't much!

    5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, November 3, 2010
    Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)

I did have to take this into the shop to tighten the truss rod, since it's not a good idea to do it yourself, but that was fairly inexpensive and now my bass sounds wonderful. Plugged into an amp it has the most gorgeous sound, I wouldn't trade it for another any day. There's no knob by the neck to attach a strap to, but you can just tie one end of the strap at the end of the neck and it will work fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Beginner Guitar., October 29, 2010
This review is from: Blue Electric Acoustic Bass Guitar w/ Equalizer & Accessories
I had this guitar purchased for my son as a starter guitar. It arrived pretty quickly and in good conidition. At first I was almost disappointed. The strings were laying on the fret board so badly that there was no tone to any of the strings and it sounded like garbage. I also couldn't locate the neck rod adjusting screw until I figured out it was underneath the black cover that is located on the head of the bass. Take the three screws off and you can easily adjust the neck rod. After a few adjustments I got the guitar sounding great. it plays like a champ now.

As far as the quality.. it isn't bad... not top of the line, but it looks really nice. The built in pickup systems is nice too. Plug it in and your ready to go.

Overall, I think this guitar was a great purchase for the money and is great for anyone looking to start off.
