5.0 out of 5 stars Better than a Kun, April 14, 2011

I really like the Everest shoulder rest, because it grips the violin well and doesn't fall off. I've had Kun pads in the past, but in recent years they changed the type of rubber they use, and it causes the pad to slip off the violin frequently. The Everest also has solid rubber feet, so it poses no danger to the violin; on a Kun, the rubber will eventually wear down to bare metal. The Everest appears to be well-made, and even has thicher shoulder padding- very comfortable!

4.0 out of 5 stars perfect fit, May 24, 2011
This review is from: Everest EZ Series Shoulder Rest for 4/4 Violin
Just started learning to play the violin. My collar bone was getting very sore and I was having some finger placement difficulties. This slid right on and is very comfy. Makes holding the violin much easier and lets me concentrate more on finger placement instead of holding the violin in place. Great price, fast shipping and very comfy. I am no expert but this worked great for me.

Putting this shoulder rest on the violin was easy, and I finally was able to hold the violin without my hands, the way the instructors say to hold a violin.
