Well, this DVD does exactly that. It shows you what each major type of effect is, and how it works.I was a total guitar novice when I ordered this DVD. I now understand for the first time how I might be able to get some of my favourite guitar sounds from just a few basic pedals. And Nick Nolan is definitely the guy to show you. Not only is he a jaw-droppingly good guitar player (really, forget effects, I'd keep this video just to try to pick up some playing tips), but he also explains it all in a very clear and helpful way. All skill and knowledge, and zero rock star attitude. Very professional, very helpful, and very inspiring. |
