The good news.
This guitar sounds first rate. The middle strings had the best sound I have ever heard on a non-electric. It appears to be well made. The frets are accurately placed, with no sharp edges. The tuners are good. It really looks first rate.
The bad news.
It was the #5 best seller on the classical and nylon string guitar list when I ordered it. However, it is neither a classical nor a nylon stringed guitar. It has a neck of a well made normal width steel string guitar, not the wider classic as implied. The only piece of sub standard workmanship I found was that mine came with a too high bridge. On tightening the strings to tune them, the treble end slid down making the strings at the right height. But the three strings at the bass side remained too high, giving very bad fingering unless you were playing one string at a time. Also the finish,... Read more

this is a great guitar forthe price.some minor flaws in the finish and the back bridge is alittle high.comes with some cheap strings.but for $40,its great.has a very full and rich sound equal to most full size guitars once you change the strings.stays in tune well also.if I had to rate it compared to other guitars I would give it a 2.5-3 stars but for the price its 4stars.I had just bought a guitar from target, paid $85 it was cheap junk.would not stay and tune and sounded terrible.I took it back and decided to take a chance with this one.and I am very glad I did.3 times better and half the price, plus free shipping!!!!!
