I needed an acoustic to lug around, and play in odd places. My electric is nice and easier to play, but not so mobile. The strings are not bronze and will need to be replaced right away; because bronze is the correct strings to put on an acoustic bass. Also the strings that come with the bass gives it a lot of buzz in the sound. Also, it will not come calibrated; the neck will have to be adjusted with the allen wrench provided with the guitar. Also the frets are some what big which give the bass some slight buzz when the strings are not pressed down just right. The good news is that for the price it is a good deal. It is a full size bass, the sounds carries very well, and resonates a deep loud sound. I have been playing it in my band practices, when we play unplugged. There are two acoustic six string guitars; my bass is not over powered by the others at all. It is really nice for campouts also. It will need some mods to be up to par for a serious...
