I was kinda bummed when we got this- it was my own fault really but I thought this was a toy for toddler aged children. Come to find out it's only 8 inches long!!! Another annoying thing about it, is when you play it the strings can get stuck together and then it just makes this constant annoying noise until you fix it. Not really what I thought it was. If your looking for a toy for children, this isn't for you!

My daughter was thrilled to see this toy. It's not as much like a real violin as I wanted but it makes a very nice toy. She's only 2 so it'll do for now. It has multiple songs and a holder which are both great. It' just on the small side. I can't say whether or not it's durable yet, as it hasn't been through any tough hits or falls. But it's size does make me uneasy about it breaking.

I read the other review and felt compelled to comment. This is not a toy for a toddler but instead a fun gift for a music lover. It sounds great and is a lot of fun.
